At Aecus Care, we specialise in providing high-quality mental health and community support services to NDIS participants. We are actively seeking dedicated and experienced casual mental health support workers to join our team, who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. 

Requirements:

• Genuine Interest and Experience: Candidates must have a genuine interest   and relevant experience in mental health support.
• Formal qualifications: Candidates with a Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Individual Support, or a relevant nursing/allied health degree (or working towards) are more likely to be successful in their application. Equivalent experience in mental health support will also be considered. 
• NDIS Worker Screening Check: A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Police Clearance: A current police clearance is mandatory.
• First Aid and CPR: Current First Aid and CPR certificates are essential.
• Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is necessary for community support roles.

• Empathy and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with participants and understand their needs.
• Team Player: Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•  Commitment to Well-Being: A dedication to promoting participant independence and overall well-being.

Please note that candidates without mental health experience will not be considered for these positions.
