We are actively seeking dedicated and experienced casual mental health support workers to join our team, who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Requirements:
- Genuine Interest and Experience: Candidates must have a genuine interest and relevant experience in mental health support.
- Formal qualifications: Candidates with a Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Individual Support, or a relevant nursing/allied health degree (or working towards) are more likely to be successful in their application. Equivalent experience in mental health support will also be considered.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check: A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
- Police Clearance: A current police clearance is mandatory.
- First Aid and CPR: Current First Aid and CPR certificates are essential.
- Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is necessary for community support roles.
Essential Qualities:
- Empathy and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with participants and understand their needs.
- Team Player: Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to Well-Being: A dedication to promoting participant independence and overall well-being.
Please note that candidates without mental health experience will not be considered for these positions.
